Energy & Vitality

Energy

Energy is the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity.  Our day to day energy is directly impacted by the food that we eat & drink, the level of stress that we experience, how we sleep, the habits that we have created (ie, smoking, alcohol, sugar, wheat, technology & personal care product addictions), and whether or not we choose to ingest quality bio-available supplements to balance out our nutrient depleted diets.

If we want to thrive in balanced energy, we need to identify all that drains us of energy, make lifestyle changes, and get back to basics.  Fuel your energy with quality foods and drinks that do not contain colorings, preservatives, chemicals, and genetically modified organisms.  Stick to all that comes from nature, such as certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils, supplements, and personal care products.  Eat breakfast and healthy snacks throughout the day.  Raise energy by exercising and stretching.  Restore energy through 20 minute meditations, deep breathing, and quality sleep. Maintain energy through giving daily gratitude, creative visualization, and setting positive intentions.

Vitality

Vitality is the state of being strong, active, and energetic.  One example of vitality is a child with boundless energy.  But as time goes on, the more the human body, mind, and spirit is challenged with the industrialization and pressures of daily living, the faster that vitality diminishes.

So how can one maintain and re-gain vitality?  By simply being aware of nourishing oneself with all that supports us.  For example, the environment that one lives in, works in, and goes to school in, can have a significant impact on how we feel.   Also consider this, is the air you breathe in from day to day clean?  Is your food and daily supplement intake straight from nature, or chemically engineered and over processed?  Is the water you drink pure, or is it tainted with fluoride, chlorine, and other unsafe toxins?  Living in today’s society makes it difficult to thrive on many levels, but vitality is easy to obtain with educated decisions that support well being.  As a consumer, it is up to you to identify the environmental challenges that you face, and become familiar with how you can remedy them.  It is up to you to recognize toxic ingredients in food, personal care, and home goods products, so that you too can avoid the very things in life that are diminishing your level of vitality.
